Yum! We came here and enjoyed all the dishes we ordered :) The baked bbq pork bun was so tasty. We ordered black bean spare ribs, beef chow fun, deep fried dumplings, turnip cake, and even egg yolk baos. We truly thoroughly enjoyed everything and it all came out hot. I love that this spot has dim sum available all week. We also got this date dessert that had jello consistency and it was a refreshing way to end the meal (pallet cleanser). Service was great and the food came out decently quickly. The egg yolk baos took a while, but they were making them fresh. Great spot!!

I'd randomly pass this place living in the South West so I decided to try it. There's not too many dim sum places around my area so this is a plus. We came on a Sunday and it was pretty packed. We didn't have a big party so we got seated pretty fast. Since it was our first time here, we decided to get the go-to common dim sum and that's when we realized our first mistake. The portion of the dim sum is huge! As a warning, be cautious of the size of the dim sum because it'll get you full fast for sure. One dim sum is about the portion of 2 at regular spots. This for sure can be a pro/con depending on how you like your dim sum. If you're not too familiar with ordering dim sum, I'd say to order anything that says dumpling or siu mai and you'll be fine. If you wan't to be more adventurous, I'd suggest Beef Tripe, Deep Fried Taro and Steamed Rice Roll with Shrimp. At any dim sum spot, I'll always suggest to use the soy sauce and vinegar (more vinegar than soy sauce). I'd also say add the chili sauce for an additional depth of flavor. Overall, just remember that the portions are bigger than normal. They usually have your ordered printed out and they cross it as it goes. I'd suggest ordering a few items and noting how many you have left. Then make the assessment after of if you'd want more food or not. Either way, left over Chinese food is always good in my opinion.

Came here due the really high reviews but definitely felt that it didn't live up to the hype. And it made sense after you sit down as there are incentives for a five star Yelp review. The better dishes we had were the salted egg tofu, pan fried seabass, roast duck, and eggplant in claypot. They were good but not necessarily outstanding. The roast pork looked good but it was cold and the bbq pork as well. The beef chow fun was mediocre. The black pepper short rib was ok... The service was very slow. Not sure if I would come back. Maybe I will try the dim sum next time.

First of all I just want to mention the fact they remembered my name and that doesn't happen where I group up in Hong Kong The food is authentic for what I have preferred today and every time...!

Came here for dim sum before 11 AM on a weekday for dim sum and had no problem getting seated. It feels like an authentically Chinese seafood restaurant - lots of kitchy red decorations and fish tanks -- some of which hold fish for eating and some (by the front entrance) to bring prosperity. You order off the menu and they bring the dim sum out to you. I actually prefer this style over the carts, because this means that the dim sum arrives fresh from the kitchen. You order off the menu yourself with a pencil and then they bring the food out to you. It was a bit confusing why they had you indicate "first" and "second". I'm not sure if this was referring to different courses, but regardless it seemed like the food arrived at our table in no particular order as it was made in the kitchen (and usually in batches). In terms of the food, my favorite dish was the special baked BBQ pork bun. It has a crispy custardy top similar to bo lo bao, and the BBQ inside had a little bit something extra - going beyond a standard BBQ/char sieu bao. I also liked their char sieu puff. Always a treat when dim sum places have this dish. Flaky and delicious with the char sieu not too dry. I usually don't get the pan fried chive dumplings, but these were delicious, filled with chives, pork, and shrimp. I may have to start making these a regular dish for dim sum. Portions are generous for the price. We definitely over ordered and had left overs to go -- in fact, I'm still enjoying my left over dan tat/ egg tarts. Service was lack-luster. We couldn't get them to refill our tea and they did not provide the soya sauce and chili sauce until we asked for it (and we got har gao too! it's usually standard for har gao). Perhaps this is because I could only speak broken mandarin and our server could not speak mandarin.

Excellence menu choices and food. Staff is good at explaining items. Mostly Asian diners, better than driving to spring mountain Chinatown

Haven't been here for a while and wanted to give it another try. Also wanted to try out a few items that the fancier dim sum places do not serve since we will have visitors who like the more traditional items like Steamed Coconut Sponge Cake 馬拉糕 and Deep Fried Taro Dumplings 蜂巢炸芋角。 Arrived around 11:30 on a weekday and there was already a pretty good sized crowd. Ordered more than the two of us could finish just to try out the two dishes above on top of what we liked such as Shrimp Dumplings, Steamed Buns with Cantonese Sausage, Baked Egg Tarts, Bean Curd Skin Rolls, Special Baked BBQ Pork Buns, and Beef Short Ribs with Black Bean Sauce. Everything tasted good and authentic. Service was okay. Prices were really good especially if you pay with cash. They still offer the 10% off for cash payment, I had to ask though. This is still a solid option for dim sum, nothing fancy but overall good value.
